Andrew is a Chartered Accountant with extensive corporate finance and corporate restructuring experience. He has an MA in Jurisprudence from Oxford University.
A partner in and co-founder of Par Equity, Andrew chairs the firm’s investment committee.
Andrew began his career at Touche Ross (now Deloitte), initially in financial services audit and then management consultancy. He then spent a number of years working in investment banking, gaining broad-based experience in transactional corporate finance advisory work, with experience at both end of the advisory spectrum – integrated international investment banks and specialist corporate finance boutiques. This was followed by a period of restructuring broken insurance companies. Andrew has served on various boards and industry bodies in addition to his day to day activities.

Based in Scotland, Par Equity’s principal geographic focus is on Scotland and the north of England, although it has also concluded investments in the Republic of Ireland and the US.
